Fridley welcomes you and your family to this hustle and bustle of a Twin City metropolitan city. Fridley belongs to the inner ring suburb of Minneapolis and St. Paul and it is beautiful city of about 29,000 residents. Fridley belongs to the Fridley Independent School District #14. For most residents, moving to a new city can be quite daunting and sometimes overwhelming. Fridley wants to make things easy for you by providing all licenses and forms for you at one location. No matter what your needs may be, you can find it at the Fridley City Hall. If you are looking to license your dog or cat, you must fill out a form. Licenses are $5.00 with proof of vaccinations. Fridley has several licensed garbage haulers to choose from in and around the city. Depending on the day and area you live in will determine which company hauls your garbage and recyclables. One of the most frustrating things residents can run into is parking tickets. If you are aware of the parking laws in Fridley, you might be able to avoid future hassles and tickets. Parking is restricted on city streets November 1st through April 1st regardless of snow from 2:00a.m. to 6:00a.m. Commercial vehicles weighting over 12,000 pounds must not be left on residential street unless certain criteria are followed such as the owner of vehicle lives on the property and the vehicle is not idling. Parking in residential areas is strictly prohibited unless you live on the property. Vehicles must be kept on the driveway or in a spot approved by the city.
